Take A Break

Last night, the Wild limped into the Christmas break with a 4-1 loss at Philadelphia. The loss marked the eighth loss in nine games for the Wild on the road and they have now dropped to ninth in the West standings.

Needless to say it has not been an easy month for the Wild and their fans. A 5-6-0 record in the month of December (1-6-0 on the road for those counting) has seen them plummet in the West and now their playoff chances are starting to come into question, as they have developed a severe lack of scoring goals.

But since it is Christmas Eve, lets just take today and tomorrow to collect ourselves and get back at it on Thursday. Spend time with family or friends, and have some laughs (or drinks) and enjoy this holiday. Stressing about our favorite hockey team is not the best way to spend Christmas.

Lets remember what really is important in life, as we discussed on Thanksgiving, and that this is just indeed a game. Its something to take our minds off the stresses of every day life, not create more.

See you on the flip side. Have a Merry Christmas, Team of 18,001.
